Dr. Maya Sastry

Dr. Maya Sastry is a seasoned adult psychiatrist with an extensive career spanning over two decades. She completed her medical school education in India at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, followed by residency in psychiatry at California Pacific Medical Center. Since 2001, she has been practicing psychiatry at Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF), where she has also held leadership positions, including serving as the Tier One for the Psychiatry Department and leading the Wellbeing Committee.

 

In 2021, Dr. Sastry furthered her expertise by completing an Integrative Psychiatry Fellowship, focusing on mind-body medicine, which reflects her commitment to a holistic approach in mental health treatment.
