The Health Initiative under Jayes Foundation
was established in Chendarapalli/Krishnagiri to provide compassionate healthcare guidance and consultation by licensed healthcare professionals to those in need in rural areas.
We aim to promote health equity by providing primary healthcare services, screening for chronic conditions, and empowering them with the ability to choose healthy behaviors through health education.
We strive to create a secure and easily accessible space where individuals can address their medical needs with confidence and peace of mind.
This foundation conducts an annual free medical camp based in Chendarapalli/Krishnagiri for the benefit of the local community who do not have easy access to health services. The camp is run by licensed physicians and student volunteers and provides consultation and screening services for the community.
Compassionate Healthcare Guidance
Licensed physician volunteers offer medical advice and empathetic guidance for health concerns. They offer interpretation of diagnostic test results and refer patients to specialists when required.
Screening Services
Blood pressure, blood glucose, lipids, heart rate, oxygen saturation, weight, and height checks are offered. Physicians on site provide interpretation and assessment of the results.
Health Education
Raise awareness and knowledge about diseases by educating people on nutrition, physical exercise, emotional health, sleep, and avoidance of substances such as smoking and alcohol.
First Annual Health Camp
On July 21, 2024, Jayes Foundation partnered with Anusham Hospitals to host a free health camp in Krishnagiri, India for the local community. Dr. Jay J.Annaji MD, Dr. Sowmya Jay MD, and Dr. Kavitha Jay MD advised patients on their health concerns. Read more about the camp at our blog!
